Lower Decks Strategy Game: Buffer Time!
If you’ve ever watched Star Trek: Lower Decks, you know that life aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos isn’t all grand diplomatic missions and dramatic space battles. Sometimes, it’s about scraping buffer clutter out of the holodeck, running routine maintenance, and, most importantly, finding clever ways to slack off without Commander Ransom or Captain Freeman catching you in the act.
Now, you can bring that exact brand of chaotic Starfleet energy to your next tabletop gathering with the official Star Trek: Lower Decks Card Game.
The Ultimate Push-Your-Luck Cooperative Challenge
Designed for 2 to 6 players, this cooperative card game drops you right into the boots of Starfleet’s most unsung crew members. Your goal? Work together with your fellow players to complete your assigned duty shifts while squeezing in as much well-earned relaxation and recreation (R&R) as humanly possible.
The core mechanics center around a thrilling push-your-luck dynamic. Do you play it safe and finish your duty logs early, or do you risk pushing your luck just one turn further to enjoy a little extra downtime? Push too far, and the bridge crew will catch you slacking, turning your relaxing afternoon into a fresh round of anomaly-scrubbing duty.
